Little shoe charms...

Here are a few shoe charms I came up with.. They are made of cloth and I used fabric paint -glitter- rhinestones and ribbon to embellish them.. I used heavy -duty thread, and beads with a clasp on the end.. They could be ornaments or clasp to a chain as a necklace... also can be worn as a brooch. Or just a charm on your purse.. Any way... I gave these away as Christmas gifts.. But will be making more for Etsy.. Can't wait to try some new styles.. Any ideas?

Ruth and the Wilderness Tabernacle

Ruth Nagele ... my sister. Ruth felt lead to recreate the Wilderness Tabernacle ...She thought how can I do this and make it portable to take and share with others.... Well lets see...... PVC pipes....yea!!! Ruth has a degree in electrical engineering from Penn State... and it shows.. Wait till you see what she has made.... It is even more amazing to walk though it and experience this wonderful Tabernacle....
These are some of the things you will see in the Tabernacle.... The Laver that Priest washed in. This is in the Outer Court.. (click on pictures to enlarge)
Here you see the Ark of the Covenant . This is in the Holy of Holies.. Within the Ark you can see the Tablets that the 10 Commandments are written on... and a bowl of Manna ... The top of the Ark has glass to let you see into it....
This is the Brazen Alter in the Outer Court.. Looks like real fire.....You should see how wonderful the Tabernacle looks at night... with all the candles and soft lights.. She even has soft music playing..

Making the Angles

Here I am trying to help.... I made the 2 Angels on top of the Ark of the Convent..
Ruth's son David ... made 2 wooden Angel forms.. I then covered them in wire screen.. then paper mache .. cloth gowns, yarn hair, paper wings... all spray painted in gold..
This was very exciting for me ... to help my sister work on her Tabernacle...
